Love is undeniable, and it is seen in the significance we attribute to our connections with others

They serve as our legacy in this world, reflections of who we are and opportunities for growth. The manner in which we make others feel, the extent to which we see and hear them – these acts stand as the most authentic testimony to our character and offer a perpetual chance for self-improvement.

Any time you are in a social situation, you can understand who you gravitate towards just by listening to your intuition and the energy that you are experiencing when you are conversing/connecting with another person

It is the energy you are approached with, in conjunction with the energy you feel, that tells you if this person might be a good fit for future conversations or connecting with them. That same distinguishing principle that you have in social situations is within you at all times, every second of the day, and you must watch and listen to your intuition and energy to learn, whether it be about yourself, life circumstances (like why is this happening to me?), your relationships with others, paths you might want to venture on, etc.

Those we rely on to support our decision making, to help us do a better job at work, to answer our technical questions, to share our knowledge of a new innovation on a project – all of these circles have shrunk

Our diversity of accessible knowledge we trust – that has lessened.

Not deliberately, but gradually and unknowingly – I feel I am poorer.

I’d bet most of us work in jobs that are inherently about our knowledge and experiences. Gaining more knowledge and experience leads us to more fulfilling work, maybe promotions, maybe different roles – a sense of purpose and worth. Sharing these with others for their benefit and the benefit of their work often gives us joy. Now the source of those gains is smaller, now our capacity to share is reduced are we still growing and developing as we want to?

This is one form of connection I have in my life, my blog – the ability to connect with people I have never met but portraying myself in a way that you can’t help but feel as if you know me

Connections to me are the people who know when and how to gently ease themselves into your daily life, their words or faces sitting in the palm of our hands, knowing what to say and when to say it. They don’t need to be encouraged to connect with you, they don’t need to be reminded of your situation and the potential hardship you’re facing – common sense says we’re all facing it, some worse than others. It’s the intangible yet undeniable connection with friends and family who know you inside out, who know the steps you have taken to get where you are now and the reasons for where you are at this very moment in time. It’s an inherent level of understanding.
