In a strained effort to finally do something I love and want to share and perhaps be proud of one day, I am going to try and ‘blog’

  1. To connect, communicate and engage with the online social community in a way I feel most comfortable.
  2. To begin creating a portfolio, compiling my thoughts, ideas and projects and creating a safe space for my work.
  3. To use this forum as a way revolutionise how we interact with one another, an opportunity to accept and learn from the mistakes made and to be supportive.

I’m a chatty person so feel free to drop me a message or an email if you want a chat about books or a rant to get them feels off your chest that non-bookish people cannot relate to

I’m Louise, 22, and recent university graduate from the quaint little city of Aberdeen on the North-East coast of Scotland. This is a place for all things bookish; reviews, book hauls, competitions for book related stuff (or just books). I will post about things that interest me but I am limited to my own knowledge and I am always happy for recommendations for new books and series. I mostly stick with young adult/teen fiction, romance, some horror and funny quirky things.

This blog — not quite a private space — really is a way to reflect, to connect, and to have myself seen by others so I see myself again

I want this blog to celebrate precisely the moments uncelebrated and unnotched by the sporadic, stochastic, “40-words-only and let’s keep it impersonal” rhythm of our social media world. And I want to reflect in longform again.

I hope you can join me in my journey to become a Young Writing Machine

I live in Baguio City with my family (My mom, my little brother, my grandpa and my grandma). In my family my mom is the breadwinner working around the clock to keep our family afloat. I hope to help her by expanding my knowledge in the freelancing industry and to know how certain things work when I get a job. I am currently practicing my typing speed and doing my best to expand my vocabulary to enhance my writing.
